Dying Animals

The start of this essay had me confused a little I wasn’t sure where Rachel was talking about till her said the place didn’t exist yet. I wasn’t aware how many different animals were affected by spraying insecticides. By the end of the essay I think I counted over 100,000 deaths of birds and other animals that ate those birds. The one bird that hit home for me the most is that pheasants could get infected, and I love eating pheasant. It makes me think if some farmers are still using insecticides on plants that could affect the pheasant population in Iowa.
