Patricia Smith I absolutely dislike her book of poems. I found it to be almost repetitive on how she came back to the same thing over and over like the Luther poems or the Katrina poems. I found it really hard to read some of her poems because of the speech she used it was either way to improper or just too much and that made me lose interest fast.
